In her own words

"It was a beautiful and moving Ceremony. Goodbyes were spoken. Many tears were shed.  But how could anybody be too sad for too long, thinking about, talking about and remembering Grace! and her extraordinary life.

Even after she is gone she brings Joy! And Family together. And always will.

We were all blessed to have such a wonderful, special, unique person in our lives.

She will never be forgotten."  Sherry (Brown) Bell

"I always carry my diary whenever I travel. One should always have something sensational to read on the train"  Oscar Wilde

"Grace was my mother's stepsister. Even though Papa John died over 30 years ago, Grace always kept up the connection with our family. She made her "pilgimage" South every summer to see us. She loved fresh, Southern vegetables, and we always tried to have a feast when she was here. She always sent us post cards from Europe, and after discovering my boys loved trains, her postcards were always trains or train stations. I am thankful we made the 5-hour trip to see her at her birthday party and again last weekend in hospice. During that last visit, she thrilled us by clearly saying, "Everybody loves me" (in response to having 9 visitors all at once). Grace was truly a unique spirit -- no will will ever forget her and the Grace stories will definitely live on... "
